E.Z.O. returns with reflective and unfiltered energy on new EP "Summer Pack 2"

"Summer Pack 2," a short three-track EP by Brooklyn's own E.Z.O., picks up where "Summer Pack" left off and focuses on themes of self-reflection and artistic growth. The project lasts more than nine minutes and has a personal but purposeful tone. It gives a glimpse into an artist who is using his pen to write down the lessons and moments that made up his summer.

With the help of East London conspirator Kyro, E.Z.O. strikes a balance between lyricism and emotion with their confident and thoughtful sound. He doesn't try to make things new; he improves them. The beats hit hard, the flows stay steady, and the production stays clear, which is like how he feels in his head. Summer Pack 2 loves the dance of hunger and control. It reminds us that sometimes moving forward means sharpening instead of shifting.

The EP has an adventurous sound that goes from thoughtful to rollicking. It was made by engineer Sam Hyde and Record House. "PEAK FICTION," the best song on the album, shows how good he is at combining personal reflection with raw energy. This kind of creative precision only comes with time. One song flows into the next without a break, similar to how we move from one season to the next in music and in our feelings.

"Summer Pack 2" isn't a way for E.Z.O. to get a hit; it's a way to capture a state of mind. It's the sound of an artist who knows where he's been and isn't scared of what's next. Even though summer is over, this album makes it clear that there is still a lot more to come.
